"Positive surpirise for Paris stay." We have just returned from 3 nights stay at Tryp Boulogne. We booked this hotel from it´s hotel chains website. First I have to admit that this is the best hotel we had comparing other Paris stays in this price group and in France. Please look our reviews from Relais De Paris Eiffel Grenelle and Claret Bercy Hotel to compare and help for your hotel choosing under 100 EUR. Reviews are from Helsinki Finland to be mentioned from reviewer location. First of all... The staff had very good language skills. They spoke french, english, german and spanish. Check in was very friendly and polite. This is more about the hotel-chain styled customer service as it will be guaranteed here in Paris also. Please note this Paris hotel customer service when choosing a hotel and prefering European standard room comfort. Hotel is located in peaceful recidential area where local french lives. Boulogne Pont de St-Cloud metro station area has good selection of bars, cafes, bakery and restaurangs (also thai) which are favoured by local people. Clean, high quality and nice service. You have to deside where you want to be hotelled. This hotel is 300m (1000 feet) from metro line station Boulogne de St-Cloud. There is parking places for hire-car. Trip by metro to Tour Eiffel is 20 min and by bus 72 is 25 min. Metro trip to Opera and La Fayette is 30 min. This is same time if you live near at Mouling Rouge... 20 min to Eiffel tower. And of this hotel standard you will pay more in Mouling Rouge area than here in near Boulogne. Hotels lobby was decent styled and room was un-parisian- roomy! First hotel we had in Paris where room size is app. 30 m2. This is to be mentioned because most hotel rooms in Paris are small, regardless of the price group. The room has separate bathroom and wc. We feeled this to be much comfort for a stay with a friend. Room itself has good standard quality like cleanliness, sat-tv, aircontition, clean carpet floor, work desk, armchair and wide kingsize bed for three to sleep. Note that bed has sheets and one blanket for two. But from room you get your own planket and extra pillow to sleep yourself if you prefer to. Breakfast was also best we had in Paris. More likely to be as a European standard. Artistic buffet with selection of cheese, bread, ham, sousages, fruits, omelette, jams, juices, coffee etc. We will choose this hotel or this hotels chain for next Paris visit. Look for their weekly wednesday offers from their main website! Travel time for this hotel from CDG airport was 1h30min. Take RoissyBus from Terminal 2D platform 11 to Opera. Then change line 8 to Balard and leave at La Motte Picquet Grenelle. Then change here for line 10 to Boulogne Pont de St-Cloud. If you take taxi there is same traffic delay on highway from airport regardless you take bus or taxi. We recommend to take Paris Visit Card which is valid for RoissyBus and metro and buses in Paris area. Please avoid RER B when traveling from airport to center. We visited Paris when they had riots in suburbs. RER B train goes through those critical enviroments and there was some RER B trains to be stopped by that activity.
