Hotel from hell If you can avoid this hotel please do so, having just returned from a week there it was horrific.. ok its only three star but right from the start I requested a new room as the one I had was so sub standard my daughter burst into tears within five minutes of entering the room, the view was of the back alley filled with running dirty water, old cans and empty crates. The towels were ALL fraid around the edges and were extremely off white, the bathroom was filthy with a badly fitted tap that ratted back and forth when moved, my daughter entered the room behind me and slipped on a pool of water dripping from behind the toilet bruising her shoulder and bursting her nose ( used one of the off white towels to stem the flow of blood ) Decor of the room was unbelievably bad with hastily repaired plaster work painted over and mis matched borders etc. I did manage to upgrade ( and I use that word grudgingly ) to a SLIGHTLY BETTER room ha ha.. Where we stayed the week ( unfortunately ) Breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had abroad, curled up pieces of meat and cheese with boiled eggs etc, the other rules of the hotel include " please do not bring in your own water or beverages from outside as these will be removed or charged to your room " you actually have to do this as the prices charged by the hotel are ridiculous. On three ocassions that week there were three weddings booked into the hotel, guests are not allowed to use the bar area on these occassions ( even though you are paying guests etc etc ) and the wedding usually begins around eight to about one pm, very loud with fireworks, singing and general noisy outbursts. No consideration is given to any of the guest who may have small children sleeping and complaints fall on deaf ears. The hotel itself is of no use to anyone with walking difficulties as its right at the top of a long steep hill, its only saving grace is that there is a dolmus ( local bus ) depot directly opposite that you can use to ferry yourself up and down into Kusadasi Centre.. This was my experience of the Turkin Hotel you may have one that is better but take my word for it... I will not be back there 1.2
