"Beautiful Hotel near Castle" The Hotel U Krale Karla is a beautiful hotel with lots of charm and individuality. Our room was large with a painted ceiling and stained glass window. We found the staff friendly and helpful. If you want to stay at a gorgeous hotel in a quieter location then this is the one for you. It is five minutes from the castle where you have stunning views of Prague. It is at the top of the hill so not suitable everyone however for us it was well worth it.

"Traditional wonderfully ambient hotel" The room was wonderful with painted wooden ceilings, an ante chamber with bathroom and wardrobes before you walked in to the actual sleeping area and everything was very clean and of good quality and comfort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and particularly the room were a fantastic reflection of the city and location is excellent - just under the famous castle. I really recommend staying at this hotel rather than at an anonymous chain hotel which could be more luxurious but wouldn't have half the character or ambience of the U Krale Karla. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited.
