"Great Buy For the Buck!"
After much research, we decided to stay at the Union based on the combination of location and cost. We were in no way disappointed! The rooms are clean and inexpensive, the staff is WONDERFUL, and the location is perfect. We had a wonderful view from our room (410), especially after it snowed our first night there. The morning breakfast was good, solid food with coffee that will definitely wake you up! We ate in the restaurant one evening and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and quite reasonable prices.
In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the location was excellent. We were far enough away from the city center that it was quiet, yet there were tram and metro stations right around the corner that could get you to the Charles Bridge in 10-15 minutes. Overall, the Union represents the perfect combination of price, location, and service and I would definitely stay there again!

"Good Hotel"
We stayed at the Union Hotel 17-20 September 2004 and it was great. We had a deluxe room which had two twin beds, tv, two balconies, a room with a wardrobe and a sink and a toilet off this area and a bathroom with corner bath. There was ample space in the room.
We got a three day pass for the trams from reception. The tram stops just outside the hotel and different trams can take you to Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square.
There was enough choice at breakfast - cereals, breads, cheases, meat, cakes, sausages, eggs, potatoes and fruit.

Great Place to Stay
We stayed at the Union Hotel for 4 nights and it was great value. The hotel restaurant and wine cellar were excellent and staff very friendly. I would highly recommend a visit.
