Ustedalen Hotell started in 1890 renting rooms to the engineers working on the Bergen Railway. Later the hotel became an ideal place for holidays and convalescense, as well as the main conference hotel for the Norwegian Telecom.

In the beginning of the seventies the old hotel was converted into a conference and holiday hotel according to modern standards. The hotel is now privatly owned. The latest improvements include a new swimmingpool, refurnished rooms, new lounge/bar area and a new restaurant.

The hotel has course and conference facilities, as well as a playroom for children.
