"Fantastic -- reviews here are spot on"
travelled to Istanbul on a business trip last month and stayed for six days at the Valide Sultan Hotel and what a magnificent experience it was, couldn't fault the place if I tried. But, the very best was the terrace restaurant has nice bosphorus and St.Sophia. view. The food, the wine list, the service are all amazing, I ate there several times . Try it!.

My boyfriend and I just got back from a 2 nights stay at the Hotel Valide Sultan (2-13 & 1-2-14) and all I can say is WOW. From the time we checked into the hotel to the time we left everything was wonderful. The rooms are very clean and beautiful decorated. I would recommend this hotel to any one. It is in a great location and easy to find and if you have ever been to Istanbul you know what I mean about being able to find you hotel.

"A Proper taste of Istanbul"
My friend and I just stayed at the fabulous Hotel Valide Sultan located in the old historic Sultanahmet area of Istanbul from March 2- March 8, 2007.
The place was amazing! as was our host - Istanbul!
The place was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was also included with our stay which was buffeton terrace. Real coffee and a variety of breads, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, cereals, eggs and dessert!
Ozgur was most helpful, friendly and generous with his knowledge of Istanbul and made every effort to welcome us. Ask him anything about the city and also ask him to book your cab to the airport. You will get a better price and friendlier driver.
We would go back in a second. If you want the comfort of your own place but the service of a hotel - stay at this excellent establishment. You wont' be disappointed.
