Best Western Hotel Vergina was built in 1980 on a site that Kruussovo Inn was operating since the late 1900s. Back then, the Inn was considered to be located on the west entrance of the city. As the city of Thessaloniki expanded greatly in the last fifty years, the Hotel Vergina is now considered to be in the center of the city.

Since 1988, operates under current management with a strong commitment to improving the equipment as well as the level of the services offered. Thus, the rooms are currently being renovated for the second time since 1988 so that they best meet the needs of today's traveler.

In 1998, all public access areas were renovated aiming towards creating a comfortable and hospitable environment. In 1999, after a real estate acquisition, the hotels first floor was expanded by approximately 400sq.meters and five new conference rooms were created in addition to a new lounge area and the necessary secondary areas. Through the application of modern technology, most of the walls of this new area are removable allowing multiple size and shape options.

In the same year, the Hotel Vergina became a member of the Best Western of Hotels, the largest, privately owned, chain of hotels in the world.

Vergina Hotel enters the new century well equipped with all tangible means necessary and the ambition to make more and more friends.

LOCATION

Best Western Hotel Vergina is conveniently situated at the center of Thessaloniki the northern capital of Greece, within walking distance from the central railway station, the bus terminals and the harbor as well as the commercial section of the city. Only 15 kilometers from the airport, it is the perfect location for all visitors, whether traveling for business or pleasure.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

*Every morning from 7 a.m. until 10, the restaurant is open for breakfast and offers American breakfast buffet.

* The hotel restaurant is located on the second floor. It offers a variety of Greek and Mediterranean specialties.

* Located across the hall from the restaurant Vergina's Bar is open every day from 10:00 until 00:30. Enjoy a fresh coffee, a cold soft drink, or your favorite cocktail any time.

* Five recently developed and fully equipped multi use conference rooms are suitable for seminars, small conferences product shows and social events.

ROOM AMENITIES

* All 133 rooms of the Hotel Vergina are equipped with a 14" TV. Remote controls are obtained at the front desk upon arrival. Instructions for use of remote control and pay TV can be found on your nightstand.

* All 133 room are also equipped with a mini bar , an air-conditioner, hair dryer, wash cloths and a cup of warm water for your coffee or tea.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
