"A lovely week in Istanbul" After having booked a week at Vezir Hotel, I happened to read the only review that had been submitted to TRIPADVISOR, and of course I became worried. Nevertheless my booking was done and I did not want to change it. As it turned out, the hotel became a pleasant surprise. The hotel is close to the most interesting places in Istanbul (less than 10 minutes walk from the Topkapi Palace and AyaSofia, 2 minutes from the Blue Mosque) and it is not very expensive. We considered it well worth the price. WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS and in fact we, my wife and I, had a wonderful week in Istanbul. The staff was helpful and even if their English was not perfect, it was certainly good enough. They were also very friendly. We will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends.
