"Nice Vibe" Spent two nights at the Vibe in December 2007 and liked it... hotel feels very modern and clean, my sort of hotel. In-room internet access a bit expensive (due to bandwith charges) but at least it had internet. Location is excellent just on the edge of Chinatown - very well placed in Sydney. Food / drinks were decent and reasonable priced, and the pool and gym on the roof, whilst small, was modern and adequate. Only slight black mark was an extremely moody receptionist with bags of attitude who wasn't very helpful on check-out, but that wasn't enough to spoil a generally good hotel experience. Recommended.

"Good value smart hotel" We stayed at the Vibe for 4 nights in early January. We had been slightly apprehensive having read other reviews, but we were really pleased with the hotel. Our room was big, with a sofa and table in, the decor was smart and modern, and the air con was good. Room service was really good value. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The hotel is in an excellent location and only about 10 minutes from the city centre. We would definitely go back.
