"renovated, boutique hotel in a fabulous location"
Victoires Opera Hotel is a nice, recently renovated, boutique hotel in a fabulous location. Although the rooms and bathrooms were on the smaller side when compared to those in America, they were still very comfortable.

"was a wonderful experience in every way"
Victoires Opera Hotel is a lovely, lovely hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. This is not a typical "tourist" hotel. You feel as if you are a resident of the neighborhood. Local dining was a wonderful experience in every way.

"Victoires Opera scores a "victory" for us!"
I took my two daughters age 15 and 23 to Paris in June. I wanted a small boutique hotel, so after researching the web, I found the Victoires Opera Hotel. I was apprehensive at first because I had never stayed there, but I was pleasantly surprised at the location, cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were small but it did not matter, as the great location far outweighed this fact. It was a perfect experience for my girls, as we were in the center of Paris, within walking distance of the Louvre, shopping, and many other attractions. Lovely cafes, bars and shops line the pedestrian street, and it does get a little loud at night, as our room faced the street, but open the windows and take in the full ambiance of Paris!!

"brilliant weekend full of surprises"
A friend and I booked this hotel for our husbands. It was their joint 40th birthday surprise. We spent ages studying reviews and finally braved it and booked the victoire opera. The location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the metro, 15 minutes to the louvre. Ideal base for sight seeing. We didn't eat breakfast as we preferred to soak up the atmosphere in the many local cafes. We had read the reviews so knew our rooms would be small but they were clean, neat and perfectly formed! Our room overlooked the street which was noisy first thing in the morning, our friends overlooked the courtyard, but you couldn't see out as the window was too high!We had booked restaurants before arriving and the receptionist confirmed our bookings, she was very helpful and full of suggestions to make the weekend even more magical! The hotel was flexible about departure time and allowed us to store our bags on arrival and prior to leaving. Our husbands were very impressed by what we had planned and where we were staying, we said they could take us back anytime! We booked through eurostar, just remember that you have to pay local taxes on departure.

"Even surpassed my expectations!"
Like most people I read the favourable reviews of this hotel on trip advisor and made my decision based on all the positive comments. We arrived on a monday at 2.30pm and although our room wasn't ready we were able to leave our bags and explore the area, which really is excellent, lots of boulangeries, bars, shops and so handy for the shopping centre of Les halles, which is only 5 minutes walk. The nearest metro station is Etienne Marcel, which is the line for Gare du Nord so only takes 10 minutes or so to get there. Our room was on the fifth floor and felt like a typical parisien studio. Nicely decorated room with comfy chairs and the sloping roof make it feel really cosy. The receptionist was helpful, spoke back to me in French and then English when French failed me! No complaints whatsoever. Perfect. Go stay.

"Fantastic hotel, fantastic location, great staff"
This is an excellent website in a great location - only have good things to say. We stayed for 3 days and had a great time. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak perfect English (which can be frustrating when you want to practice your french!). The street the hotel is on is brilliant with lots of great cafes, restaurants and shops. I will always try to get into this hotel on future trips. I've been to Paris many times and its the best hotel I've been to.

"A great little hotel"
This hotel is very well located close to a busy shopping street where you can see the locals buy their provisions for the day's eating ahead. The rooms are small even the junior suite we stayed in was relatively small but there was ample room. This is central Paris after all, if you want space you must be prepared to pay lots for it. There was some street noise, but nothing that kept us awake at night. Receptionist was oh so helpful and seemd to speak every langauge under the sun. Leaving bags after check out was also not a problem. Breakfast was included and was substantial and tasty. Bathroom was small, but everything worked and there was a lot of marble in there! It's three minutes to the nearest metro and the location could not be better. Would recommned anyone to stay in this hotel. It's location alone would be reason enough to stay there.
