Vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows showcase this restaurant’s carefully restored ornamental columns, carved moldings, and century-old parquet floors. Walnut tables, crimson-upholstered chairs and oil paintings complete the setting. Creative contemporary cuisine includes seasonal offerings and natural Swiss products, such as market-fresh fruit and vegetables, freshwater fish, local cheeses, and Swiss wines. Open for lunch and dinner Thursday to Monday.
* La Terrasse:
An airy atmosphere prevails at La Terrasse, where marbled yellow columns, patterned floors, and high recessed ceilings are complemented by table linens, fresh flowers, and candelabras. In addition to fine French specialties, the restaurant serves light, low-calorie meals from its “SPA” menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Open Tuesday-Sunday.
* La Pastateca:
This chic modern restaurant with stark white walls, dark wood furnishings, and soft recessed lighting features Italian and Asian pasta dishes. Open daily from early until late.
* Victoria Bar:
The classy Victoria Bar features afternoon tea, as well as cocktails, wines, and live piano music. Light snacks, including sandwiches and scones served with marmalade and cream, are the specialty. Open daily from mid-morning until late.
* Intermezzo Bar:
This bar and smoking lounge offers a wide selection of premium cigars, as well as rare blended whiskies and single malts. Open from early evening until late.
* The hotel offers sport fitness consulting as well as tennis courts. Its location in central Interlaken, between the lakes of Thun and Brienz at the foot of the Jungfrau region, allows convenient access to many sporting activities, including hiking, skiing, boating, mountain biking, and paragliding.

Is this the best hotel in switzerland?probably
Stayed here 4 times. Absolutely superb. staff excellent. warmer than you would expect from 5 star swiss. spa is outstanding;it is serenely beautiful. the cheapest restraurant PassTecca is the best value We have had different types of rooms all delightful. views from balconies on the front are exquiste. It is truly spectacu;lar.Decor throughout is stunning.Go and stay there and use teh trains to get up into the stunning local scenery. |

"warm atmosphere"
Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa's room itself was spacious had a wonderful balcony and a really beautiful bathroom with separate shower and tub. It was very warm when we arrived and were pleased that we had one of the few rooms in Interlaken with air conditioning. However, the unit was not very efficient and we were glad when the external temperature dropped. This was the only fault we could find in this hotel which provided great service.
The location is good for touring and we enjoyed our visit by train to Jungfraujoch. The views were beautiful but if you can wait for a cloudless sunny day. Its expensive if you cannot see everything clearly.

"refreshed and rejuvinated"
Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa is quite simply wonderful. It has genuinely warm and friendly staff, architectural beauty, a stunning location and fantastic faccilities. The place exhudes style, charm, elegance, and luxury with not a hint of snobbery or stuffiness. After my all to short stay I felt thorourghly refreshed and rejuvinated.

"Fantastic Welcome, Excellent Service, Great Hotel"
Interlaken is a beautiful resort, full of activity and leisure options. The Victoria Jungfrau hotel is arguably the shining jewel of this beautiful Swiss town.
As a group, we arrived in a very common downmarket van/minibus at the hotel. But from the first moment we were treated like royalty. Our luggage was swiftly removed the from the van, and before we knew it the vehicle had been driven away for valet parking. I don't even remember noticing the reception desk as we were whisked away to our suite by a smiling and very courteous yet friendly member of staff who could not have made us feel more welcome.
We could not but be immediately impressed by our room. Inside, the large suite had everything we needed as regards ameneties, not to mention a plate of fresh fruit, a plate of desserts, baby food for our 6 month old, and a snack for our 3 year old. There was a remote for the air conitioning, and electric shutters at every window to keep the light out early in the morning. The bathroom was very large with separate bath and shower.
We once got a babysitter for our baby who was fantastic.
The huge beautiful pool with its 'hot springs' section was a joy; and spa facilities were faultless. We ate mostly at the Brasserie and pasta restaurant and had no problems with quality and service. Breakfasts were also a treat.
I cannot see how I could give this hotel anything but the top rating. If you are going to Interlaken, go on, spoil yourself, and stay at Victoria Jungfrau.

"Excellent Staff!"
We spent two days in September at the Hotel Victoria Jungfrau and, besides the beauty of the place and the wonderful decors (in line with a five star Hotel), we found that the one aspect really making the difference to any other Hotel is the staff. You can tell that there are real professionals doing their job there: they are extremely friendly, helpful and skilled.
The food is very good too: if you want a first class dinner, then go to the terrace - if, on the other hand, you want to dine in a gorgeous Art deco style environment, then try the brasserie: the food is not as good as in the Terrace, but the setting makes up the difference.
