A great hotel in the central part of Riga..

Hotel Viktorija occupies a five-storey Art-Nouveau building in the central part of Riga built in 1910. Designed by architect J. Asaris. During the years 1998-2000 it was under partial reconstruction.

After the restoration of independence in the Republic of Latvia, the Hotel Viktorija was one of the first to obtain the status of a private hotel in 1993, and it is owned by the company "Rigas Viesis" Ltd.

Hotel Viktorija is a member of the Latvian Hotel and Restaurants Association. In 1996 Viktorija Hotel was awarded a certificate of three stars status, it is a tourist class hotel with good service and reasonable price.

LOCATION

Hotel Viktorija is located on the famous shopping street, named Caka Street. 10 min. walking distance to the old town (churches, old buildings, museums, etc.) and to the park.

Hotel Viktorija is about 15-20 minutes´ walk from the Riga railway terminal, bus station and within 20 minutes´ drive from the airport "Riga".

From airport you can go by bus Nr. 22 till Stockmann center. Than go straight and on opposite site of Central Post office and shopping center Origo is trolley bus stop. Take trolley bus Nr. 11 or 18 or 23 and go 2 stops till Gertrudes street, than 100 m till crossing. You will see 5 storey building and on the corner of this building is restaurant Starburags and in the same building is Hotel Viktorija.

It's open from 7.30 a.m. till 6.00 p.m. Breakfast from 7.30 a.m. till 11.00 a.m. cold and hot buffet. The room holds 60 persons. In addition, lunches and dinners may be ordered for both individual guests and tourist groups.

It's open from 12.00 mid-day till 24.00. On the menu, there are Latvian national dishes and various brands of beer brewed in Latvia, for comparatively low prices. It is possible to order lunches or dinners by preliminary orders.
