Praia do Forte (Fort Beach) is situated 50 km from Aeroporto Internacional de Salvador Luís Eduardo Magalhães (the Salvador International Airport). The village entrance is at Kilometer 1 of Linha Verde, soon after the end of the Estrada do Coco. From the village entrance to the villa stretches 1.5 km of a road paved with cobblestone. There are regular bus lines leaving Salvador for Praia do Forte.
