"The best Hotel and Cuisine in Lugano"
This Hotel has an own character, for me it is absolutely not comparable to other Hotel in Lugano. Excellent service!

"Very luxurious!"
I stayed at the Principe Leopoldo for a conference in April 2007. I was lucky enough to get a room in the hotel itself, rather than the separate Residence, and it was the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in!
The room had an entrance hall with four doors off it - two were large walk-in closets and the other two were bathrooms - one with a toilet, bidet and sink and the other with a bath, separate shower and sink. The bedroom itself was huge and was separated from a large lounge area by curtains which were tied back but could have been drawn to make the bedroom more cosy. There was then a large terrace beyond the lounge area with a great view over the lake below and mountains opposite.
I found the staff very efficient and friendly throughout my stay. The food was fantastic - there were approximately 100 attendees at the conference staying at the Principe Leopoldo and other hotels, but we all ate together at the Leopoldo for each meal and the quality of the food was consistently outstanding.
The decor of the rooms is quite old fashioned but I found the room extremely clean and it had been well maintained so there were not many signs of wear and tear.
The conference facilities were also excellent. Our meetings were held in a large room with big windows which looked out on to the amazing view at the back of the hotel. It was without doubt the most pictureque location I've ever experienced for a conference!

"Fabulous!"
I had a short holiday this summer in Lugano and chose this spot for that break. A wonderful place with great staff! The Front Desk people are all very helpful and will fullfill nearly all desires you may have. I was there with my girlfriend and we already decided to pass there our honeymoon.
The resort is splitted into two buildings, the Villa with Junior Suites (our room) with spectacular views over the lake or the Residence with double rooms facing the pool. Those rooms are ideal if you like it calm.
Great food on the charming terrace. We definitely will come back to the Villa Principe Leopoldo & Residence.
