"A Jewel On the Amalfi Coast"
We had the opportunity to spend seven nights at the Villa Romana Hotel. It is a quaint hotel in the quaint town of Minori, It was like staying at an aunt's house, it was so nice. The rooms were nicely decorated and cleaned well every day. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and courteous. The waiters were very attentive. The food was good, but after a few days, it got a little boring, so we ate in town. It is a solid 4 star hotel. The hotel is situated perfectly to easily reach Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello. Don't miss going to Ravello. It is the closest you'll get to heaven (literally and figuratively).

"the best holiday ever"
me and my boyfriend stayed at the villa romana in september for 2 weeks , it has to be the most romantic place on earth , we got engaged while staying there and all the staff made such a fuss. the food is 1st class and there is such variety if you didnt like something on the menu they would make you something else , which ment sometimes them getting things in specially for you , nothing was ever to much trouble for them. The rooms were always spotless and so were the public areas. anyone going i highly recommened the cake shop which is directly opposite the hotel they are the best cakes ive ever tasted my boyfriend had 4 in one day !! also go to the sun deck on the roof as it has the most amazing views of ravello and you can see all over minori. i could not fault anything with this hotel everything was perfect.

"it felt like visiting family"
The staff at the Villa Romano were excellent, very friendly, room was kept clean every day. Our meals were wonderful, the chef even prepared special meals for those who requested a favorite dish. Our waiters Alessandro and Mauritzio (sp) were WONDERFUL. They were very attentive, friendly, and always went the extra mile for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great deal for the price. Only drawback was very thin walls, so that you could sometimes here neighbor snoring or talking. We were three traveling females and the owner of the hotel would worry about us if we were late for dinner, so cute.
