Villa Romita Hotel is an old-time atmosphere hovers about "Villa Romita", a nineteenth century farm-house, today converted to tourist reception after an accurate and wise restauration.

Immersed in the green hilly landscape of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi and inserted in the amenities of the country among olive-trees and orchards, once residence of the renowned Neapolitan jurist and philosopher Francesco Pepe who, in 1861 chose ti as an ideal spot to rest, it still remains an ideal place for those who wish to spend a holiday in complete relaxation. The furniture is old style in coherence with the history and tradition of the "Villa".

"lovely hermitage"
a lovely hotel, stunning views over the bay of naples and sorrento.at the rear of the hotel a relaxing 10 minute stroll to the little village of st.agata.a courtesy bus will take you on a 15 minute ride down the hilllsides to sorrento through day and night although for the more energetic, directly opposite the hotel there is a 30 minute walk (downhill) through lovely local countryside with magnificent views over the bay and sorrento. and if it proves too much effort you can always get the bus back up or a local bus which is cheap and runs past the hotel or will take you to st.agata and an easy 10 minute stroll back down to the hotel. beautiful views from the balconies of the front rooms, from the delightful lounge balcony(with a glass of vino) and the poolside which has a snack-bar and is not overcrowded. the rooms are comfortable and well furnished although air-con. came at an extra cost. the rooms were cleaned every day ,fresh linen and towels. the dining room is large and perhaps not too intimate but great if you want to meet new friends. the staff were were always polite ,friendly and courteous and nothing ever seemed to be a problem for them. if the choice of menu was not to your liking on any particular night the manager was only too pleased too to make every effort to provide a menu to your preference. do take a trip on the courtesy bus as well as the lovely views on the way down you will enjoy the company of the helpful and jovial bus driver.sorrento is a great place to visit at day or at night.the isle of capri ,ashort boat-trip is very pretty but also very hectic and crowded but the jewel in the crown(another short boat-trip or hair raising but stunning bus ride)is the magnificent positano,if you want to step into a picture-postcard then go to positano. this is our second visit to the amalfi coast and hopefully we may return again .if you are going here enjoy yourselves, i don;t see how you can fail to.
