"Lovely Hotel"
This hotel is in a fantastic location. Paris was extremely hot during our visit and it was wonderful to return to the very quiet air conditioned room. The hotel staff were very helpfull and went out of their way to assist us. In July the hotel is still wrapped in plastic but that did not hamper our very pleasant stay.

"A great find in Paris"
A beautiful, clean and reasonably spacious hotel in a wonderful area of St Germain de Pres. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful with quite good english, The breakfasts were delicious. Spacious bathroom but most importantly the cleanliness of the room was excellent. Situated in not a very busy street so the noise level wasn;t bad at all early in the morning. Would most definately stay again.

"Perfect location"
Hotel was perfectly situated, right near all the bistros, bars and shops - and a short walk from the Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame et al. Our room was very clean and well presented and the 'his and hers' bathrobes were a nice touch. Although the room wasn't the largest, it was more than adequate and the bed extremely comfortable. Although we were situated on the first floor next to a fairly busy street we didn't hear any outside noise after closing both the exterior windows and internal shutters. We found the staff to be extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. We found the price of the breakfast to be a little on the steep side. 15 euros for a basic breakfast and, although the pain au chocolat and apple pastry were gorgeous, we saw many nearby cafes advertising a basic breakfast for only 8 euros. Not only that, but if you had a larger appetite a more substantial breakfast went up to 35 euros per person. Although we didn't sample the room service menu, it looked extensive and tempting. All things considered, though, it was the perfect location for our romantic break. If we were revisiting and were again staying in the 280 euro a night superior room we would like to see breakfast included.

"Perfect for my short stay in Paris"
I recently got back from a short vacation in Paris. I had wanted to stay near the Saint Germain Metro. This hotel was more expensive than I had hoped but Paris was crowded (Fashion Week, trade shows) and most of my other choices were booked. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was excellent: a block and a half from the Metro stop, surrounded by interesting shops and cafes, close to the Seine. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, spoke English comfortably, enjoyed my halting French, made reservations each night for dinner and arranged airport transportation. I found the hotel to be well equipped with relatively large rooms for this area (if it is within your budget, go for the higher end rooms for a little more space) and compact but well equipped bathrooms. I enjoyed the hotel's design--udated French with muted colors. The room was very quiet (double windows) and seemed well-ventilated by the A/C system; I never tried to open the windows. I did not have breakfast at the hotel because the it seemed quite expensive (compared to the local cafes) and the dining room was in the lower level of the lobby--I prefer drinking coffee and people watching at street level. All in all, it was a great stay and I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small, relatively modern hotel in this part of the Left Bank.

"loved the area"
Hotel great but room too hot - a/c didn't seem to make a difference. Probably should have told reception. Had to open window - big mistake. Revellers outside on Friday and Saturday kept us awake as they wended their way home (luckily not to our hotel).
Hotel room excellent, although a bit small for the price! TV OK - got Sky news and CNN. Bed queen sized and room clean. Bathroom small - as was bath- but had clean towels every day (unnecessary) and fluffy bathrobes, plus toiletries. Was not any better equipped than some cheaper hotels in Holland and Belgium.
Breakfast disappointing. We had it as a special "free" deal from Opodo but it was only bread, crossant, OJ, pastry and coffee. We are used to the sumptious Dutch breakfasts or the Campanile ones.
I don't think it was value for money but Paris 6e is always expensive.
