Excellent
This hotel was excellent for the price. It was ten minutes walk from the Gare Du Nord and four from the Gare D lest.
All rooms are sound proofed from the streets. Breakfast was continental and very good with wide variety for a continental breakfast. Rooms were very clean and were also vacuumed( I tested this)The staff always friendly and helpful. Free internet access was available. There are a couple of small local supemarkets around the corner if you wanted to buy cans of drinks and snacks at low prices.All in all I can't fault this hotel or the area. It is a very warm hotel so I did leave the window open but it was not a problem. |

Recommended staying!
Had a great experience in Paris. Affordable hotel located conveniently. Close to Gare de l'Est. I didn't need to pay for taxi :-) The hotel is tastefully decorated. Rooms kept very clean whenever I came to the room towels & sheets were changed. I could keep up with the news thanks to the CNN on TV. Hotel serves very good breakfast exceeded the standards of a Paris hotel. At the end of my stay I came back with a smiling face :) |

"Magnificent Hotel"
This was my first visit to Paris and I must say that staying at the Villa Saint Martin made it very special. On first arriving at the hotel we were greeted with Bonjour mademoiselle and a great smile. Everyone was very accommodating to our needs and also were very helpful on giving easy directions to get around Paris and finding the best resturants. I would recommend the Villa Saint Martin to anyone wanting a warm friendly and clean place to stay in Paris.

"a GEM"
Stayed here for two nights in april - very friendly desk staff, rooms small (the norm in Paris) but impecpable - recently refurbished - trendy bathroom fittings. Excellent buffet breakfast. 5 minutes walk to Gare D'Est and another 3 or 4 to Gare Du Nord. Lots of cosy non-touristy restaurants within walking distance.

"A nice and friendly hotel"
The location of the hotel is very close to the train, metro and bus stations which will take you to the places that you want to go in Paris. The hotel rooms are clean, neat and tidy even though it is a small hotel. The elevator is very tiny and the corridors are narrow, but on the whole the hotel is comfortable. The buffet breakfast is a very nice one and has great coffee. The hotel staffs are nice, helpful and friendly.

"Wonderful staff"
This hotel is made what it is by the staff. From the first welcoming "Bonjour" to the last "Au Revoir" you are made to feel welcome and at home. Even the cleaning lady bade us "Welcome" as we made our way to our rooms, very unusual in Paris! Although quite a small hotel, with narrow corridors and a small lift, it is a hotel to which we will certainly return. It is well placed for the Metro and RER trains and is just a short walk from the canal. The breakfast is excellent and unlimited. A great hotel from which to explore Paris.

Excelnte en relacion a los Hotels en Paris
Bien ubicado a pesar de no estar tan cerca de los sitios turisticos, pero diagonal se encuentra la Estacion de Gard D'est, tambien monumento, pero en escencia muy bien conectada con todo Paris. La habitacion con vista exterior y con ducha y tina, muy limpio. El desayuno especialmente bueno, gran variedad, sin ser buffet, fue mejor. El personal muy atento y poliglota. Volveremos. |

"Enjoyed our stay"
We stayed here for 4 nights in August and had a wonderful stay.
The rooms are 10 square metres, but it's just what you expect for a Paris Hotel. The shower cabin is not meant for two, but it's very good compared to other hotels in Paris. Quality speaks in this hotel.
The people, maintance, service and breakfast are A-plus.
We'd definetly recommend this hotel to our friends to stay, especially for the value of your money.

"Loved Adis and Cecile at the Villa Saint Martin"
We had only 3 days to enjoy Paris and Adis and Cecile helped us manage our time by giving us accurate information and suggestions. They both assisted us immensely with reservations, transportation, restaurants.
All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was clean and had easy access to public transportation.
