"Excellent!"
We stayed at the Village last night and were very pleased and impressed with the quality of accommodation, food and service, especially in respect of value for money. We paid £48 for B&B (internet booking)and had a very cosy room on the top floor as requested at check in, which was extremely efficient.
The beds were very comfy and there was lots of drawer space. The hanger area in place of wardrobe did the job ok and there was a (slightly sticking out) ironing board and iron available. Plus a fridge, which was good.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and were delighted that there was an on-site manager actively looking around and involving himself in customer service. The staff were nice and friendly and the food quality was good. Same for breakfast, we were very well greeted, looked after and catered for.
The hotel has a large fitness centre which was good to use.
We live close by, but this was a very nice night out away from home and we will defininitely be returning.
