"Great Views, location and rooms. good price :)"
I was in Madrid Last week, I spent two days in Vincci Capitol, it was a gratefull stay, the hotel is located over Gran via street a shooping one, i said over cause the breathtakings views was amazings... there was a public terrace on the top floor where you can see a panoramic views of Madrid.
Modern desing in room and Bar and a good price.
My girlfriend said that it was too much modern, but she is a little bit old fashion XD

"An amazing hotel- completely refurbished"
Got an amazing room (room 411) with a fantastsic view of downtown madrid. A real buzz at night. This hotel is perfect for visiting all the main attractions-all within a short walking distance.
The lobby has a cool glass lift and the staff are very friendly.
The hotel rooms are equipt with everything from slippers to shaving kits, plus you can even choose the lighting in your room from welcoming to relaxing- this can all be chosen from your bed!
Well worth a visit and a good price too.
Dont be put off by earlier review - the hotel is very modern and clean.

"Great location in central madrid"
Read a couple of reviews prior to going which were not complimentary but the hotel has obviously been completely refurbished since those were written! Very modern, but dark in decor. Room was very clean with various light levels, glass door wardobe and cupboard with lights in which was a bit different! Could have done with a more comfortable lounge and drinks were a bit expensive. We did not try restaurant but with no menu to look at we were a bit wary that it would probably be a bit expensive. We could have done with more information in the room aor hotel generally about places to go etc. It would probably not meet UK 4 star rating but excellent location in centre of Madrid and walking distance to tourist spots and shops or cheap Metro journey. Our room on 6th floor was also very quiet when considering location with only outside noise heard being any emergency vehicles going by. 24 hour check out also useful (we had to leave at 4.30am for flight home)

"Excelent NEW hotel"
I just came back yesterday, form a 3 day break in Madrid.
I'm a travel agent, so always try to find good hotels. I've already been in other good hotels in Madrid, but I was really wanting to got o this hotel since I knew it was being remodelating.
The Vincci Capitol has an emblematic location in Madrid's Gran Via, a very commercial area, plenty of resaturants and cafes. For me this is the perfect location in Madrid, with little wlaking distance to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real or the Prado Musseum.
The hotel has been completely remodeleted, and has been re-opened just a month ago, so everything is really new. The rooms are quite spacious and luminous. Very modern decoration and comfortable beds, and most of the rooms have great views to the Gran Via.
I had Only Room, so I can't say nothing about the breakfast. I didn't take it because in tahta area there's no problem to get breakfast.
I would really recommend it, and will try to book it again in my next visit to Madrid.
