"Great Experience"
Good central location and reasonable facilities for the price. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were well-mannered and helpful. Didn't sample the breakfast - ate at the Nebraska diner round the corner - good food and inexpensive.
The location of the hotel allowed us to reach most, if not all of the sites in greater-Madrid. It's not really far to walk, but pace yourself and make sure you screen yourself from the sun if you go at this time of year.
Architecture is stunning and steeped in history - well worth taking your time over.
I'd go back to Madrid like a shot, and would be happy with the Centrum again - no question.

"Great hotel, awesome location"
Stayed at the hotel just 1 night, but had a great time. Very friendly staff who spoke great English. Hotel is very modern and clean. Room was decent size, though not huge (that's what you get in Europe). Bathroom was awesome! Very clean (which my wife loves), modern, nice all around.
Location is great, just minutes to Puerto Del Sol. Hotel is on a fairly busy intersection, but noise level is pretty low considering. Didn't eat at the hotel--breakfast seemed expensive but didn't even look at the food since its easy to find a bakery close by.
All in all, I'd defintely recommend the hotel to just about anybody! Paid 115 euro before tax. Well worth it!

"Location, Location, Location!!"
I recently stayed at this hotel on my stay in Madrid & it lived up to its standards. I’m a fashion designer so style is essential & this boutique hotel exceeded my expectations! The hotel is quite contemporary with a European flair.
The rooms are quaint and chic & the staff was quick to answer all my questions. The hotel is ideally situated in the city centre, only a stones throw away from the hustle & bustle of this lovely, majestic city.

"Great value, location - a few tips"
My family converged in Madrid for a week's holiday at Christmas. We all stayed at the Vincci Centrum and were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms are somewhat small, like all European hotels, but had some nice extras such as lighted closets, double sinks and full bathtub. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful both with room-related questions and with booking restaurant and theater reservations. The hotel's central location is fantastic - we rarely took the Metro since almost everything is within 15 minutes walk. When you reserve and check in, it is worth asking for a room that faces the street rather than the airshafts since there is little street noise, you'll get better light, and will be away from the elevators.
There is a free in-room safe that was just large enough to hold our laptop computer. Access to the Wi-Fi network in the hotel and the lobby computer must be purchased (~5 euros for 30 minutes), however if you have your own laptop and an ethernet cord, there is free Internet access in the rooms. (The hotel has a few loaner cords, but I would bring your own.) There was enough space in the mini-bar fridge to hold a few snacks and small water bottles of our own.
The hotel has an extensive breakfast buffet for 15 euros which we ate only on Christmas day. You can certainly eat your money's worth, but we preferred to save our appetites/calorie budget for lunch. We usually went to Hontares around the corner, a typical cafe with a vague Mexican association, which has a good value breakfast menu on weekdays. (Go left out of hotel, left on c Alcala and left again at c Sevilla ). There is also a Starbucks very nearby. Two nearby restaurants that we enjoyed very much: La Finca de Susana (c Arlaban) and Edelweiss, a German place on the corner of Zorrilla and Jovellanos that was surprisingly good (the duck in particular is excellent).
Overall, a great experience!! We would definitely go back to the Vincci Centrum.
