"Enjoyable stay!"
I stayed here in March for 2 nights on a weekend getaway wtih my husband. We liked the modern style of the hotel. Alot of hotels in Rome are quite old and traditional.
Very nice reception area.
We had to wait awhile at reception before they acknowledged us.. other than that, no other complains. It was in a good location, we walked everywhere...later in our trip we also discovered the underground train which was quite easy to use, and within close distance to the hotel when we need to give our tired feed a break from all the walking.
Rooms are nice and modern. Comfy. Our bathroom didn't have a tub, but it was a stand up shower. Not a big deal for us. We don't take baths anyway. Mini Bar was stocked with a variety of drinks, at ok prices.
Overall, Nice hotel, Nice decor , good location, will recommend.

"Very nice... a little expensive"
This is quite nice hotel near to the centre of Rome. However it can become a little expensive if staying for a long period of time. The mini-bar, internet and laundry service is particularly price, especially considering that you can walk and short distance and find a supermarket or laundrette. the rooms are very nice and staff fairly friendly. However I did find them to be a moody when I asked my room to be changed. The hotel serves and fairly nice breakfast in the morning but has no restaurant so you have to find your own place to eat in the evenings. The staff will help you find an restaurant depending on the person you ask, as you can imagine with no restaurant they normally here that type of question a lot and point to the closet restaurant despite the quality of the food.
To summarise this hotel is in a good location allowing you to visit the main touristy parts of Rome, however can be a little expensive. Staff are fairly friendly depending on how their day has been.

"This place is great!!"
We just returned from staying in a junior suite at the Visconti for 5 days. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The room was very comfortable and the location was beyond perfect!
Our room was very inviting and the bed was comfortable. The staff in the reception/concierge were so extremely helpful - they guided us through the city for the right restaurants, worth-it attractions and must-see sites. The bar/ lounge staff didn't skip a beat when it came
time to order and accomodate our American-isms (special orders) as well as introducing us to different mixed drinks and native wines. The lobby lounge and outdoor seating were totally hip and shiek, the music was cool and underwhelming and I want my own "water-ball" decoration like they have out on the patio.
This hotel is PERFECTLY located! You cannot ask for a more central location to everything you need and want to see in Rome. We found ourselves walking to everything - even the farther off destinations because it never really made sense to take a taxi, saving us a ton of euros without us even expecting it. This place is right in the midst of the actual day-to-day of Roman life so no hoards of tourists
(you and I) gawking at sites and if you walk 2 blocks and cross the Ponte Cavour, you are exactly where you want to be. You will also look forward to coming back to the Visconti when you are done with it all for peace and quiet. I didn't love the breakfast but that went
for all the Italian hotels, so I won't hold it against them.
I highly recommend this place if you are used to, or are expecting a shiek, upscale feel without any of the pretention and higher rates of
other places located in worse areas.

"Great Service"
From the minute you walked through the door we were treated to a great service My Luggage was promptly taken off me, we were booked in and given a map of Rome showing where we were and the location of everything else.
Room was above my expectations, we normally rent a villa in Fort Myers Florida, so it had a lot to compete with!
Room was spotlessly clean and was cleaned everyday in the morning. Beds were comfortable, ventilation was fine and it was quiet, maybe other hotel guests should show a bit more consideration to others in the morning, but that is not the hotels fault. The bar area was very nice; the food they served was of excellent quality as was the service. We had two very nice lunches with a few ‘biccheras’ of wine. The breakfast was very plentiful and again everything was very clean.
All the staff were very helpful and gave good advice when asked, even booking me & my wife a Limo back to the airport as our tired feet could not take any more!
The bar area was a relaxing oasis after a days walking, the hotel is very central to many of the big attractions. Hotel is located a 20 minute walk from the Spanish steps & 20 minute walk from the Vatican (in either direction).
All I need to do is learn a lot more Italian so when I come back I can understand a lot more about my surroundings and say more than hi, by & wine :0)
I would go back to this hotel again & totally recommend it.

"Impressive Hotel"
The Visconti Palace is a very nice hotel in a good location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home which is very important as not alot of people speak great English!
The rooms were very clean and very modern, which was perfect for my taste. The breakfast in the morning was the usual cereals, fruit, yoghurts and cold meat, I didn’t think i'd like it that much, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel is very near the Spanish Steps, and it’s easily possible to get to all the major attractions if you don’t mind a walk. I'd suggest getting the Metro B Line to the Coliseum and then walking back, as you pass lots of other big attractions. The Metro is very cheap and always entertaining with the musicians going up and down the carts all the time!
Be warned though, eating out is very different from what I expected. Hardly any restaurants open till late so it’s usually a sandwich or fast-food outlet if you want something hot.
There are lovely restaurants at Piazza Navarro, although can be expensive. My girlfriend and I had a great meal there on our last night which was very romantic and finished off the long weekend well.
Overall, a great weekend that I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys seeing the world and travelling, or simply wants a romantic weekend away!

"A second visit already booked"
I have just returned from the best idea I ever had. For my best friends birthday I decided to take her to Rome as she had always want to go. I wanted it to be special as it was her 21st. So i was delighted when her eyes light up on entrance to the Visconti Palace. The exterrior was modern and stylish but still had that friendly warm welcome touch. The door was opened for us on arrival and the reception staff were very efficient in checking us in. They booked a taxi to airport for our return and asked if we needed any maps or help seeing any Rome attractions during our stay. I thought this couldn't get any better until I saw the room. It was perfect, everything you would want... clean, smart and well decorated for all tastes.
The location was a hot spot too, not being close to the main road I was worried it may be out the way but it wasn't. It was still in good walking distance to many of the attractions especially the riverside and Vatican. Not being near the main road it was nice and quiet in the evening, ideally for a short walk back from the nearby cafe/ restaurants.
All in all definately a good choice and worth a second visit back.

Visconti Palace Hotel
The Visconti Palace Hotel was good indeed, although breakfast is far from what is normal in Israel. Location of the hotel is very good, in a quiet street. In the bathroom, there is room for improvements: tap water flow was disappointingly weak, the sink is mounted too low, the toilet seat is too high, and the shower floor could not collect the water towards the draining hole and so most of the bathroom was flooded after a short shower. But otherwise it has been very good.
