"Chic, modern, and hip" From the moment I stepped out of my cab til the moment I left, I was treated with nothing but excellent service at the W! Check-in was quick and I was even offered complimentary drinks at the bar. I was loving my stay already! The interior of the hotel was very chic and modern, and truly fit for a young hip crowd. There's a nice bar and lounge right at the lobby, if you want to have a couple of drinks before heading out. The rooms were indeed small, but had all the amenities I needed. The room included a t.v., dvd player, cd player, a mini-frigde that included an assortment of drinks, an iron, blowdryer, bath products, a food basket, and desk with internet access. Hailing a cab was effortless, since there was always one waiting outside. The concierge was extremely helpful in giving us information of nearby restaurants as well as restaurants around the city. They also gave very detailed insight of the happening nightclubs around New York which was extremely helpful! The location was great. It was within walking distance to Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, and Bloomindales on 59th. If you want to take the subway, there is the 6 train you could catch on 51st, just two blocks north of the hotel. Very convenient! I had a great experience during my stay at the W, and wouldn't mind returning!
