"Very good place to stay in Brussels"
We spent a very good weekend in Brussels and stayed at the Hotel Barsey. It is a very good hotel, with a special "Special Mention" for the quality of the service. All the staff including Front office, Restaurant and Housekeeping was very helpful and friendly. Located out of the Center it is quiet and you can go to La Grand Place quite easily... Definitely a place to recommand to spend a "Romantic Weekend".

"Just so different - George Manners"
I stayed there for the second time recently and I agree that it's very different that any other hotel in Brussels. But then that's what I liked about it. I thought I was arriving at a chane type hotel, but found a familiar and cozy place full of charm.
It needs som attention, but the new bedding is divine, the food is to die for and the parties they have every Friday are the place to be in Brussels on Friday. When I read the some of the other reviews about the decor, I guess they better go to a 300 room tower block, because here, attention is on atmosphere and personality.
I liked it and reccomend it to anyone who doesn't want to wonder it what city they have woken up!!

"Great hotel, Good Location"
The hotel is a short (10 Euro) taxi ride from Brussels Midi and well located on the Avenue Louise, if a short walk from from the shops. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, if too few at breakfast.
The breakfast buffet is superb, with a great selection of fruits, cold meats and fruit juices.
There is no gym on site, but they have an arrangement with one around the corner (which opens at ten and midday on Saturdays).
Overall, a great hotel, at which I would definitely stay again.
