Welcome to Warwick New York Hotel, a palatial midtown Manhattan hotel...
Welcome to Warwick New York Hotel, a palatial midtown Manhattan hotel, perfectly located close to Broadway and numerous New York City landmarks. Commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1926 for his paramour, Marion Davies, to host their many Hollywood and theatrical friends, Warwick New York Hotel was originally built opposite the Ziegfeld Theater for this very reason.
Warwick New York Hotel epitomises European-style elegance and is convenient for both business and vacation travellers to see New York City at its greatest.
Warwick New York Hotel offers 359 oversized hotel guest rooms, 67 handsomely appointed suites (several with terraces), non-smoking rooms, marble bathrooms, special amenities, high-speed wireless Internet, dual-line telephones, minibar, in-room safes, Business Centre, Fitness Centre, valet service, 24-hour Room Service and full-sized meeting and banquet facilities.
For dining and enjoyment, Warwick New York Hotel has recently opened its restaurant, Murals on 54, featuring innovative continental cuisine with international influences. Randolph's Bar, designed to closely resemble a living room rather than a hotel bar, with inviting sofas and armchairs, is an excellent venue to see and be seen in Manhattan.
Throughout the years, Warwick New York has retained its revered name as one of the best New York City hotels and has always appealed to celebrities. The New York City choice of hotel for The Beatles, Cary Grant's Manhattan home for 12 years and even 'The King', Elvis Presley, made Warwick New York his home when he visited New York. PROPERTY AMENITIES
* Murals on 54, Manhattan's newest historic restaurant, is The Warwick New York Hotel's recently refurbished dining room. It not only features innovative continental cuisine with international influences, but also Dean Cornwell's original historic murals, which have been completely restored. The dining room's fresh design accentuates the historic murals painted by Dean Cornwell, known as the 'Dean of American Illustrators'. In 1937, William Randolph Hearst commissioned Cornwell to paint murals for The Raleigh Room, the restaurant inside his Warwick New York hotel. Cornwell completed painting the murals in 1938, which depict Sir Walter Raleigh receiving his charter from Queen Elizabeth I in 1584 and Raleigh landing at Roanoke Island.
* Randolph's Bar, the classic bar and lounge at The Warwick New York, is the place to see and be seen, where Manhattan mixes. Randolph's was named after William Randolph Hearst, the hotel's original owner, when it was established in 1996. Its atmosphere radiates the sophisticated allure of a past era. An expanded lounge resembling a traditional bar, the restaurant was designed to closely resemble a living room, with inviting sofas, armchairs and large windows that overlook New York City's famous Avenue of the Americas, or watch the latest on the Flat Screen television sets.
* Conveniently located on the 3rd floor, the Fitness Centre offers an array of quality fitness equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes and free weights. Registered guests given access to the facility can gain entry to the Fitness Centre with their room keycard.
* The hotel's Business Centre is located in the Lobby of the hotel, to the right of the Reception desk. The Business Centre offers 24-hour fax and copying services, computers with high-speed Internet access. Audio-visual equipment and mobile phone rentals are also available upon request.
* The Warwick boasts a total meeting floor space of 7000 square feet, with seven fully equipped rooms of varying dimensions to suit all get-togethers, in addition to a pre-function lounge and several refurbished, elegantly appointed suites. The functions rooms are ideally located separate from the Lobby and guest room floors of the hotel, on the 2nd floor, with easy elevator and stairs access from the hotel's Lobby. The hotel's unique Westminster Boardroom, with a capacity of up to ten, is located on the hotel's 33rd floor overlooking the corporate towers of Avenue of the Americas. What is impressive is the range and scale of functions we can cater to, from 10 to up to 500 people. |

"Superb!"
I love this hotel. It was my first time staying there. The interior was clean and well-appointed. The room that I stayed in was spacious from what I hear about NYC hotels. No complaints!

"The Warwick is great!"
When we arrived at the Warwick , we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite. Our suite, the Westminster Suite on the 20th floor, was amazing! The rooms were super clean, beautifully decorated and extremely spacious, even the two closets. The marble bathroom was small, but very functional. Nice touches that aren't so common anymore, like shoehorns, slippers, etc. were present. The view from all the windows was amazing, but the view down 54th street towards 5th Ave was stunning! The staff at the hotel were more than accomodating, and went out of their way to help make our stay more enjoyable, including the doormen, front desk staff, housekeeping and the engineering staff. Murals on 54th is a very nice restaurant and Randolph's is a beautiful old bar. The lobby, though small, is extremely elegant and all of the hallways are clean, bright, and nicely decorated. This is a great old hotel and we'll definitely be staying there again! This was the best hotel experience we've had in New York, and we travel there yearly.
