Ideally suited for the budget conscious travellers coming to New York City, the West End Studios New York is a lovely hotel, with a friendly multilingual staff, offering cozy and nicely furnished rooms.

The hotel offers a functional kitchen area on every floor, 24-hour reception, concierge services to help you with your travel arrangements and ticket booking, an Internet Point in the lobby, fax and copy service at the front desk, laundry service, coin-operated washing machines and discounted phone cards.

West End Studios New York is located on West End Avenue, between W 101st and W 102nd Street, the property is just minutes from Riverside Park, in a lovely residential area in the Upper West Side.

New York’s famed Midtown Manhattan and all major attractions of the city are easily reachable thanks to the Big Apple’s comprehensive networks of subway lines, buses and cabs.

I had read a few reviews about this hostel before i stayed there and was expecting the worse, it was average, i booked a single room but when i arrived they said that they do not do single rooms, (Dorms only) and that this was a mistake made by the agent i had booked through (gtahotels.com) as i had arrived quite late and tried to sort this out the agents were not available so i had to take my chances with sleeping with strangers and as a young woman on her own was quite frightening but in the end everybody was lovely and i had a great time. If you are looking for somewhere to lay your head then this is the place for you.

Cheap hotel. Near to 103rd subway station. Don't expect much. Good for the people who want cheap hotel for one night stay. There are some rooms that do not have A/C. Before taking the room ensure that you get the room with A/C. Without A/C I had a terrible night as there was no window in the room.
