"Great Value for Money"
Excellent value for money and friendly helpful staff is why we rate it as above average (4 night break November 2006, including breakfast). Building rather tired but roof -top indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi were pleasent with relatively few guests using them.
I guess the 4 Star rating is based on the number of facilities but it is not a 4-Star Hotel by any UK or international standard that I know.
However, rooms were adequete, clean and very inexpensive and staff helpful and keen to please. If you think of it as being a good 2-3 Star hotel and get a price to match then don't be put off by other reviews. Of course, I don't know what they paid but 20 Maltese lira per day for a double room with breakfast for two is good value in my world.

"Windsor Hotel Sliema Malta"
This is a small hotel, approx 87 rooms, but it is excellently run by is extremely friendly staff, rooms very clean and comfortable, food is excellent.
Hotel is a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of mainstreem Sliema, but only one minute from main promenade, with transport (bus) links at bottom of street, it is very easy to get to any part of Malta.
All in all, if a relaxing hoiliday is wanted, then look no further than the Windsor Hotel, you will be very well looked after by an excellent & friendly staff.
