"Superb staff and accomondations" I have just returned from my trip to Buckhead. I am from New Jersey and I visit Buckhead once a year to attend Altanta Braves Baseball games. My friends and I have been traveling to Atlanta for the past four years now. We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza and this year we decided to switch to the Wingate Inn. I just want to say that this Hotel is fabulous. We were greeted with a shuttle limo awaiting us at the Marta. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is extremely neat. The rooms, bathroom, pool and bar are absolutely spotless! The beds in the rooms are so comfortable and the sheets and comforter makes you not want to get out of bed. The service to the Marta and anywhere you want to go was on the money. The one thing I have to say is that the breakfast in the morning which includes: homemade waffles and special prepared omelletes not including bacon, sausage muffins etc etc.. was a major treat. I have not been to a hotel that offered this marvelous breakfast. The pool area was beautiful especially the chairs, and the tile all around the pool. I can go on and on about this Hotel but I would recommend it to anyone. I will be staying there again and this time I will definitely stay in their suites. THeir upgrades on this hotel will catch your eye. Soon they will be adding a restaurant that I know will be superb. Check this hotel out if you are staying in Buckhead. It is affordable and for what they offer it blows all hotels away. Oh yeah by the way their bar in the lobby is wonderful and they have all top shelf liquors! Just a great time...
