"TERRIFIC experience with the Wyndham Atlanta Midtown"
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and well-kept. The staff was polite, helpful, and well-trained. Upon entering our room, it was obvious we had mistakenly been put in a smoking room. We called down to the desk and within 5 minutes, a staff-member had brought up a key that moved us to a non-smoking room. She apologized profusely for the problem, and the stay just got better from there. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Anything we asked for was immediately received. And the hotel van is available for hire as an alternative to a cab or walking. Ask for David.
The hotel itself is close to a MARTA station, and within walking distance of the Arts center, and loads of really nice restaurants. We had made reservations at Veni,Vidi,Vici--an Italian restaurant near the Woodruff Arts Center. Beyond-fabulous dining experience! Make reservations before you go, it's packed all the time, and rightfully so.
I thoroughly LOVED my experiences in Atlanta...I am not the easiest person to please when it comes to hotel cleanliness , but this hotel, and everything connected with it, was exceptional.

"Great Place, No Hassles"
This is a nice, comfortable full-service hotel in Midtown that isn't so large that you don't feel welcome. I travel alot to Midtown ATL and this is the first location I've stayed that combines the full service features (valet, room service, bar, health club) with personalized & friendly service. I travel to ATL from SFO quite often and am usually arriving in the middle of the night--and I must say that the young man who checked me in was by far the friendliest person I've ever encountered at 2AM. The hotel is small enough that the staff remember you--It was so nice to come back to the hotel after a long day of work and see the same faces each day. Not like some of the hotels with 500+ rooms I've stayed in where you could never see the same staff member twice. Parking is a little confusing but it is Atlanta so that's not to much of a shock. Although its just $5 more to valet and you can skip the whole hastle. I actually used the subway system during most of my stay as it is just a short walk away from the hotel. Summation: If you want to be waited on hand a foot ... this is not the place for you. If you want a clean, comfortable room and friendly staff in a full service hotel ... this place can't be beat.

"A very good value"
I stayed for a long 4-day weekend and had an overall good impression of the hotel and will absolutely stay there again. For $104/night, I got a nice sized businessman's suite exactly to my request. A bottle of wine and some fruit were waiting for me (nice touch). The room was stuffy but that was easily remedied by turning on the a/c, even though it was in the 40's outside. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are much cleaner than the Regency Suites, just down the block. I requested extra pillows (feather) and there they were waiting for me. I had a nice view overlooking the Maragret Mitchell House. I had a "comp" for a free breakfast and used it on my last day. Unfortunately I was late (11am) but that did not stop the waiter from preparing a full breakfast for me......very nice! The check-in and check out were a snap and I found the desk help to be very attentive. I think this is probably the best value in Midtown Atlanta.
