Swallow Yorkshire Hotel completed a total refurbishment programme in September 2004, transforming it from typically Victorian to one that is now modern and contemporary.

* Hg1 Brasserie is modern and contemporary, it is the main hotel restaurant as well as a high street brasserie in the heart of Harrogate. It offers both a table d'Hote and a-la-Carte menu, and is open for lunch and dinner Sunday to Friday, however on Saturdays it is open for lunch only.

* The Yorkshire has been approved for the solemnization of civil marriages and offers a variety of rooms for this purpose including The Upstairs, Hg1 Brasserie, Carnearvon Suite, The Boardroom and the lounge of suite 103.For your wedding breakfast we offer The Upstairs, Hg1 or the Canaervon Suite. The rooftop wedding suite is on the 5th floor and offers some of the best views in town, stretching across the Yorkshire dales and beyond. This stylish suite is perfect for your wedding breakfast and evening reception and can comfortably seat 100 guests for the sit down meal. The Upstairs has its own private bar, reception room plus private facilities.

* The Yorkshire is set in the very heart of Harrogate and following its complete refurbishment offers some of the best facilities in the town. The hotel has five conference rooms, four on the first floor and the largest suite is located on the fifth floor. The Upstairs Suite offers spectacular views over Harrogate and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. This suite caters for up to 120 delegates theatre style and 100 for a sit down dinner. It has its own bar, reception area plus private facilities.

ROOM AMENITIES

* All of the 80 bedrooms were included in our refurbishment programme, which was completed in September 2004. There are 12 singles, 60 doubles, twins, six junior suites and two suites. All rooms offer en-suite bathroom, refreshment tray, 24 hour room service, wireless internet access, movie channels and TV. In addition to these facilities the junior suites and suites also include complimentary mini bar (first night), fresh fruit, chocolates, towelling bath robes, slippers and magazines. Three of our suites also include jacuzzi baths. The majority of the rooms overlook the gardens at the front of the hotel and the Stray parkland.
