Hard Rock Cafe Berlin

My Thanks to Francis MacMahon for letting me have their feedback on the hard Rock cafe Berlin TourThe hostess took my voucher but did not tell the waiter who wanted to charge again for the prepaid meal which turned out to be very ordinary. The music background could not have been further from rock - surprising when the place was dedicated to Elvis, the Beatles and such ilk. A rather disappointing evening reallyIf you are interested to find out more about this tour please click the link belowhttp://www.gtahotels.com/activities/productdetails.php/SIC.2856HRCBER.htm?

Hotel Vip Victoria

Short stay (2 nights), short comment:Very nice, not too big hotel with an individual character.Free internet-access and accommodating service, up-to-date standards.Only the experienced balcony-view (by the way: balcony door could not be opened at all) was a bit "disappointing" - but sitting on the balcony was not the purpose of my stay... besides that the hotel has a nice roof terrace. All in all: Very good value!

Spending 3 days in Barcelona at the end of September. Any suggestions for a centrally located hotel? Price not as big a factor as quality and location. Many thanks. G

best Bed

Akwaaba Mansion is the best experience we did in New York. Nice, clean and big rooms, with bathroom in the room. Incredibly good breakfasts cooked directly by the owner, Monique. Only 20 minutes subway from Manhattan. All of this at a very fair and affordable price. A different way of living NY.

Women lone travellers

To distract from unwelcome male attention it has been suggested to wear a fake gold wedding ring! Any female who has tried this trick will be the first to tell you that it makes no difference. Unwelcome male attention only comes about because they want sex or money from you so they really dont care if you are married or not.My tip when you see a unwelcome presence comming towards you is to get a tissue and blow your nose very loudly!! They should scarper!! A good tip when travelling on public transport is to carry a pin or broch. If someone tries to touch you, just prod them with the pin!!

Travel books

My suggestion to help cut down on bulky luggage, and dont forget that every little cut back makes a big difference Instead of carrying a bulky guide book I either just print the pages that I need from the internet or fotocopy the information that I want from the libary. Its much easier to pack and carry a couple of A4 pages than a complete book! Both of these suggestions also save a little money as you dont need to go out and buy a guide bookHope it helps

Travelling to North Cyprus and then to Greece

North Cyprus is really great to visit and if you are from the UK then hiring a car couldnt be easier because in North Cyprus they drive on the left. There is one important point I should mention. If you plan to visit Greece at any time after your visit to North Cyprus then you should ask the passport police in North Cyprus NOT to stamp your passport. Instead they will happily stamp your entry and departure details on a separate piece of paper which you should keep with you.If you try to enter Greece with a passport that has been stamped in North Cyprus then you will be denied entry. If you forget to do this, then to visit Greece in the future you will need to get a new passport without any North Cyprus stamp in it.

What are your PET PEEVES

Ever had been annoyed by people who spits everywhere on the streets? Or ever annoyed with taxi drivers who overprice you? These are only few of my petpeeves. Petpeeves are things people/things do and say that annoy you. It might be petty but still annoys you (hahahha ).So here's a thread where you can list down your pet peeves! Here are my top 5 Pet Peeves:1. Car Drivers who think they own the road and just park everywhere and causing a traffic jam (GRRRR! ).2. People crossing the street even if it's a Green Light.3. Women who breastfeed babies in public then make a big fuss hiding as if we all care.4. Professors who spits saliva whenever they're lecturing. (I need an umbrella for this - hahaha).5. Airport ATMs that doesn't dispense money especially when you most need it. (ugggh!)I posted mine, what's yours?

Nightlife in Genting Highlands Malaysia

I can not count the number of times i been to Gentings. A small hill station with limited activities. But you can enjoy there day and night non-stop. Play games in Theme Park in the day and those who like gambling... Enjoy in Casino at night. The romantic couples can go for a walk at night. Sometimes the weather at night is very cold and freezy.. I love to be there for whole night either in Casino or just for a walk around on the roads.
